1989 - He was convicted for trespassing and unlawful assembly.

1998 - He got his first taste of electoral politics, running for a New York congressional seat.

2000 - Terry was censured by his church, the Landmark Church of Binghamton, New York, for a "pattern of repeated and sinful relationships and conversations with both single and married women." Terry denies the accusation.

2003 - Founder of the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue and the Society for Truth and Justice.

2006 - A candidate for Republican nomination to Florida senate.
