Taylor, George
1716 - Born in Ireland. A Delegate from Pennsylvania.
1736 - He migrated to the United States and settled at Warwick Furnace and later at Coventry Forge, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
1755 - Engaged in the manufacture of iron and moved to Durham, Pennsylvania.
1757 - He was appointed as the justice of the peace.
1764 - A member of the provincial assembly.

1775 - Colonel of Pennsylvania Militia.
1776 - Pennsylvania delegate to Continental Congress.
- The signer of Declaration of Independence as delegate from Pennsylvania.
1777 - A member of the First Supreme Executive Council.
1781 - Returned to Easton, Pennsylvania, where he died on February 23rd; interment in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
