Sullivan, James

1776 – He was a State court judge in Massachusetts.

1782 – He was elected to represent Massachusetts at the Continental Congress from this year until 1783.

1790 – He was the Republican attorney general of Massachusetts.

1801 – He prosecuted the Dedham murderer Jason Fairbanks.

1807 – He also served as the governor of Massachusetts.

1808 – He died in his office this year. He was interred in the Boston Common Cemetery, at Boston, Massachus
