1868 - Edward Alan Sullivan, born on the 29th of November in St. George's Rectory, Montreal, Canada.  He was a Canadian poet and author of short stories.

1883 - He began attending Loretto in Musselburgh, Scotland, a famous school for boys.

1941 - He won the Governor General's Award for English language fiction for the novel Three Came to Ville Marie.

1947 - Died on the 6th of August in Canada.
