1874 - Born in Krecovice on the 4th of January.

1885-1892 - He studied at Prague Conservatory.

1922 - He taught at the Prague Conservatory where his pupils included Bohuslav Martino and Rudolf Firkušný.

1892 - His best known works are probably the youthful Serenade for Strings.

1906 - The symphony, Asrael.

1900 - The Fairy Tale Suite.

1909 - Things Lived and Dreamed.

1909 - A Summer's Tale.

1917 - The Ripening.

1929 - Epilog.

1932 - He won a silver medal at the Art Competitions during the Olympic Games at Los Angeles with his work Into a New Life.

1935 - Died in Benesov on the 29th of May.
