1923 - Stram was born Henry Louis Stram in Chicago.

1962 -Texans won the AFL Western Division and the AFL championship

1960-1963 - Dallas Texans Coach.

1964-1974 - Kansas City Chiefs Coach (lost Super Bowl I 1967, won Super Bowl IV 1970).

1976-1977 - New Orleans Saints Coach.

1978-1995 - Sportscaster for CBS TV and Monday night Football on radio.

Hank Stram retired to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he built a home in the town of Covington.

2005 - He died at St. Tammany Parish hospital in Covington, from complications due to diabetes, on the 4th of July. He was 82 years old.
