1667 - 1679 - He served as a pupil in Nicolò Amati's workshop, though there is much evidence to dispute this fact.
1680 - Settled himself in the Piazza San Domenico, Cremona, and his fame as an instrument-maker was soon established thereafter.
1737 - Died on the 18th of December in Cremona, Italy and was buried in the Basilica of San Domenico, in Cremona.
