1928 - Born in Kfar Malal, Palestine on the 26th of February.

1942 - At the age of 14, Sharon joined the Gadna, a paramilitary youth battalion, and later the Haganah, the underground paramilitary force and the Jewish military precursor to the Israel Defense Forces.

1949 - In September, Sharon was promoted to company commander and to intelligence officer for Central Command.

1969 - He was appointed the Head of IDF's Southern Command.

1975-1976 - Sharon was a special aide to Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
 

1981-1983 - Israeli defense minister.

 

1984 - Israeli trade and industry minister.

 

1990-1992 - Israeli construction and housing minister.

 

1996-1998 - Israeli national infrastructures minister.

 

         - Israeli foreign minister.

 

1999-2005 - Leader of Likud Party.

 

         - Prime minister of Israel.

 

         - Founded Kadima Party.
