1959 - Sarah Margaret Ferguson was born on October 15th in Marylebone, London, England. Daughter of Major Ronald Ivor Ferguson and Susan Mary Wright.

1985 - Invited to a house party at Windsor Castle to celebrate the Royal Ascot horse races. Her romance with Prince Andrew began.

1986 - Became engaged to Prince Andrew on March 19th.

         - Married Prince Andrew Albert Christian Windsor, Duke of York, at Westminster, Abbey, London, England on July 23rd. They had two children, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

1992 - The queen paid Fergie's debts when she and Prince Andrew separated. She has worked hard writing books and newspaper columns, making TV shows and commercials to pay off her debts.

         - On August, an English tabloid published photos of Fergie, topless, having her feet kissed by Bryan.

1996 - The Yorks' divorce became official in April. Fergie and Andrew share joint custody of their children and for years they all continued to live together.

2002 - Bought an estate in Tuscany, Italy, close to another estate owned by her former boyfriend Count Gaddo della Gherardesca.

         - Sarah took another step toward independence, when she moved with her daughters to a rented house near Sunninghill Park.

2003 - Bought her own home in Surrey.

2004 - Public signs of a reconciliation between Sarah and royal family members. Prince Charles was photographed kissing his former sister-in-law on the cheek, and soon afterward Sarah attended a polo match with Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, and Queen Elizabeth.
