1887 - Born on the 28th of January in Aódz, Poland to a Jewish family.
1900 - He made his debut in Berlin then in Germany and Poland.
1904 - Went to Paris and met the composers Ravel, Dukas, and the violinist Jacques Thibaud.
1932 - He gave up his concert life for a several months to focus on his techniques and repertory.
1976 - Retired from the stage due to his deteriorating eyesight and hearing.
1982 - He died 20th of December in Geneva, Switzerland.
