1943 - Noel David Redding, born on the 25th of December in Folkestone, England. He was a rock & roll guitarist best known as the bassist for The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

1960 - At 17 years old went professional and toured in Scotland and Germany, in the clubs with Neil Landon and the Burnettes.

1966 - He was selected by Chas Chandler to join Hendrix's band.

1972 - Moved to Ireland and fromed a band.

1974 - He was forced to sign away his royalties and later had to sell the bass guitar he used during that time.

1993 - Recorded and toured sporadically through the years, occasionally doing session work on other artists' albums. He performed with the rock band Phish.

2003 - He died at his home in Ireland at the age of 57 on the 11th of May. In the local of village of Ardfield, local people have erected a plaque to his memory.
