1751 - Born on August 19th. American patriot in American Revolution, he and his brother Abel volunteered as messengers.

1775 - He accompanied Paul Revere on Revere's ride. After capture of Revere, escaped British detachment and carried warning to Concord.

1776 - He was captured by the British Navy and imprisoned at Halifax, Nova Scotia.

1777 - He died in miserable conditions.
