1966 - On February 1 of this year, The Mamas and the Papas hit Number 1 on the charts with “California Dreamin’.” Other hits such as “Monday, Monday” and “Go Where You Wanna Go” followed it.


1970 – He and Michelle got divorced. However, they were forced to continue working together because they had a contract with Dunhill.


1971 – A sub-par effort, “People like us,” was released too little interest, and the group broke up.
