Navon, Yitzhak

1921 - Born on the 9th of April in Jerusalem, Israel.

1951 - He became the political secretary of the first Israel Prime Minister.

1963 - He became the department head at the Ministry of Education and Culture.

1968 - He served as deputy speaker of the Knesset and chairman of its Committee on Foreign and Defense

               Affairs.

1978 - He was elected as the fifth President of Israel.

1984 - He was elected as minister of Education and Culture.
