Nash, Abner
1740 - Born on the 8th of August in Prince Edward Country, Virginia.
1761 - He began his political career, serving in the House of Buresses.
1774 - He represented New Bern in the rebel "Provincial Congress".
1776 - He was a member of the committee that drafted the state's new Constitution.
1777 - He became a member of the North Carolina House of Commons.
1781 - He was elected Governor by the Legislature.
1782 - He resigned and went home in the Spring.
1786 - He died on th 5th December in New York City.
