Manning, Patrick Augustus Mervyn

1946 - Born on the 17th of August

1971 - He ran for Parliament and served as Parliamentary Secretary in various Ministries before being appointed

            junior Minister in the Ministry of Finance.

1979 - He was given the additional position of junior Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.

1981 - He was given a full Cabinet position of Minister of Information and Minister of Industry and Commerce

            in Trinidad and Tobago.

          - He served as Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.

1986 - He was Leader of the Opposition in Trinidad and Tobago.

1987 - He was was elected Political Leader of the PNM (People's National Movement).

1991 - He serve five years as a Prime Minister in Trinidad and Tobago.

2001 - He serve for the the second time as a Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
