Luís I
1838 - Born on the 31st of October. He was the second son of queen Maria II da Glória and her king consort Fernão II von Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha. His full name was Luís Filipe Maria Fernando Pedro de Alcântara António Miguel Rafael Gabriel Gonzaga Xavier Francisco de Assis João Augusto Júlio Valfando de Saxe-Coburgo-Gotha e Bragança.
1861 - He was thrust by the death of his brother king Pedro V.
1862 - Married on October 6th to princess Maria Pia of Savoy, the daughter of the 1st Italian king Vittorio Emanuele II and his queen Adelheid of Austria.
1889 - Died on October 19th in Cascais.
