He’s a Polish-born American architect, who has designed many prominent and celebrated buildings, including the Jewish Museum in Berlin, Germany, the Denver Art Museum, the Imperial War Museum of the North in Manchester, United Kingdom, the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada.
1998 – He designed the sets and costumes for the Norwegian National Theatre in Oslo for "The Architect".
2001 - He created the sets for this year’s production of Tristan und Isolde at Saarbrücken's Saarländisches Staatstheater.
2003 – He won the competition for the master plan to rebuild the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan.
2004 – His involvement with Ground Zero in year 2001 effectively ended in this year.
