1922 - On the 25th of September he married Rosalind "Roz" Goldstein.
1936 - He joined the Lincoln Newspaper Syndicate working as Newspaper Comic Strips.
1940 - He moved on to comic-book publisher and newspaper syndicator "Fox Feature Syndicate" (a comic
book publisher) and he began exploring superhero narrative with the comic strip "The Blue Beetle".
1943 - He served into the U.S. army with the Third Army combat infantry.
1950 - He worked for Marvel in Atlas Comics.
1958 - He draw across all genres, from romance to Western (a western fiction a genre of literature typically set in the American Old West) but made his mark primarily with a series of monster Horror and
Science fiction.
1963 - He was awarded the "Favorite Short Story" with his comic "The Human Torch Meets Captain America".
1964 - His comic book "Captain America Joins the Avengers" was awarded as Best Novel.
1971 - He was awarded the Shazam Award for Special Achievement by an Individual for his comic
"Fourth World" series in Forever People, New Gods, Mister Miracle, and Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen.
1975 - He was inducted into the Shazam Awards Hall of Fame.
1981 - He published the series "Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers" (a comic book).
1994 - Died on the 6th of February.
1998 - He was honored with the Harvy Award (given for achievement in comic book) for Best Domestic
Reprint Project.
2006 - He was voted the #1 artist on Comic Book Resources "All Time Top 100 Writers and Artists".
