1882 - Lost sight and hearing at the age of nineteen months due to illness, most likely scarlet fever (February).

1887 - Helen received instruction from Anne Sullivan beginning.

1887 - On the 5th of April, Anne led helen to the water pump and told her all was about to change.

1890 - Helen was living in Perkins institute.

1902 - Helen wrote autobiographies " The story of my life".

1904 - Helen graduated from Radcliffe College.
