1995 - Jones is known primarily for her stage work, including her Tony winning lead performances in Lincoln Center's production of The Heiress and John Patrick Shanley's play Doubt.

1995 - Jones accepted her first Tony Award, she thanked her then partner, architect Mary O'Connor.
