Donald Wayne Johnson
1949 - Donald Wayne Johnson, born on the 15th of December in Flat Creek, Missouri. His family moved to Wichita, Kansas when he was 5. When he was 12 the family moved back to Missouri, and then back to Wichita for Don's senior year in high school. Flat Creek is located in the Southwestern corner of the state.
1967 - He attended Wichita High School South. Their yearbook was called "The Sabre".
1969 - Appeared in Sal Mineo's production of "Fortune and Men's Eyes". This was his first major stage role. He left the production after signing a contract with MGM.
1970 - He starred in the film "The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart". This was his first leading role in a film.
1976 - Appeared in the TV-Movie entitled "Law of the Land", which was his TV-Movie acting debut.
1985 - He received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series (Drama) for "Miami Vice". Miami Vice was his big break, bringing him into the eyes of the public, and making a name for him as an actor.
1999 - Married, in San Francisco, to Kelley Phleger on the 29th of April. Robert Wagner was the best man.
2003 - Driving his car with three companions was stopped at the Swiss-German border when customs agents discovered a suitcase in the car stuffed with $8-billion worth of financial documents share certificates, bonds and credit notes.
