1774 - Born on April 24 in Provence.

 

1786 - He was appointed Chirurgien aide-major at Val de Grâce in Paris.

 

1789 - Physician at the Institute for Deaf Mutes.

 

1816 - 1832 - Co-editor of the Journal Universel des Sciences Médicales, Paris (1822), (1821) Published a major work on Otology. Co-Editor of the Revue médical, (1832) of the Dictionnaire de médecine ou répertoire générale des sciences médicales sous le rapport théorique et pratique.

 

1825 - Was credited with describing the first case of Tourette syndrome.

 

1838 - July 5, he died in Paris.
