Jandl, Ernst

1925 - Ernst Jandl, born on the 1st of August in Vienna, Austria. He was an Austrian writer, poet, and translator.

1952 - Influenced by Dada he started to write experimental poetry, first published in the journal "Neue Wege" (New Ways).

1973 - He co-founded the "Grazer Autorenversammlung" in Graz.

1983 - 1987 - Became the President of "Grazer Autorenversammlung" in Graz.

2000 - Died on the 9th of June at the age of 75.
