Frank George Jackson
1946 - Frank George Jackson, born on the 4th of October in Cleveland, Ohio. He is an African American politician of the Democratic Party.
1967 - He is the first sitting member of Cleveland City Council to become mayor since Stephen Buhrer.
1975 - He married his wife, Edwina. When the couple met, she already had a daughter, Janeise.
1989 - Won a seat on the Cleveland City Council for Ward 5.
2005 - On the 1st of December, he announced that he would appoint the city's first point person for regional issues.
- He was elected the 57th mayor of Cleveland, Ohio on the 8th of November.
2006 - On the 2nd of January, he was sworn in as Cleveland's 57th Mayor, at East Technical High School, on the city's East Side.
