Jackson, Alphonso
1945 - Born on the 9th of September in Marshall, Texas.
1968 - He earned a bachelor's degree in political science.
1969 - A master's degree in education administration from Northeast Missouri State University now Truman State University.
1973 - A J.D. from Washington University School of Law.
1977 - Jackson became the Director of Public Safety for the City of St. Louis. Jackson also served as executive director for the St. Louis Housing Authority.
1989 - Jackson was President and CEO of the Housing Authority of the City of Dallas.
1995 - Governor George W. Bush appointed Jackson to the Texas Southern University Board of Regents.
2001 - Jackson first joined the Bush Administration in June as HUD's Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer.
2006 - On the 28th of April, Jackson spoke at a meeting in Dallas and addressed the subject of government contracting.
