1818-1820 - He was also a pioneer in urban climate studies, publishing The Climate of London, which contained continuous daily observations of wind direction, atmospheric pressure, maximum temperature, and rainfall.

1821 - Howard was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society.

1864 - Died on the 21st of March.
