2005 - As an actress, she has appeared in several minor roles, most notably in the horror film "House of Wax".

- In September, she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of 0.08%, the minimum at which it is illegal to drive in California.

2007 - Released her fourth perfume called Cancan in October.
- She pled no contest to the alcohol-related reckless driving charge. Her punishment was 36 months' probation and fines of about $1,500.
- On the 15th of January, she was pulled over for driving with a suspended license and signed a document acknowledging that she was not permitted to drive.
- In February, she obtained a temporary injunction against ParisExposed.com, closing down the website.
- She was caught driving 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, again with a suspended license.
- On the 4th of May, she was sentenced by Judge Michael T. Sauer to 45 days in jail for violating her probation.
- On the 3rd of June, after attending the MTV Movie Awards, she checked herself into the Men's Central Jail of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles at 11:38 pm PDT.
- Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca signed orders on the morning of June 7th, reassigning her to 40 days of home confinement with an electronic monitoring device due to an unspecified medical condition.
- British reggae band UB40 started legal action against her and Warner Chappell Music for plagiarism due to similarities between the song "Stars Are Blind" and their 90' song "Kingston Town".
2008 - She has several upcoming theatrical releases in which she is the lead role, including "The Hottie and the Nottie", and an untitled superhero movie involving Stan Lee.
