15 BC - Herodias was born.
- Angered by John the Baptist's rebuke of her marriage to Herod Antipas, persuaded Salome to demand from Herod Antipas the head of John the Baptist
- Urged Herod Antipas to return to Rome to seek title of king, leading to Caligula's dismissal of Herod Antipas from tetrarchy.
1 AD - 2AD - She married her uncle, Herod II, also called Herod Boethus, son of Herod the Great and Mariamne II, daughter of the high priest Simon Boethus.
23 AD - She divorced her husband and married another uncle, Herod Antipas, tetrarch of Galilee and Peraea.
37 AD - Herodias' brother Herod Agrippa was made king over the territories of Batanaea and Trachonitis and the tetrarchy of the late Lysanias.
39 AD - They embarked for Italy.
