Hebert, Anne
1916 - Born in Sainte-Catherine-de-Fossambault, Quebec on the 1st of August.
1943 - She was also the cousin of Hector de Saint-Denys Garneau, and his death affected her so much that it changed her way of writing for the rest of her life.
1954 - She moved to Paris but continued to return to Quebec, which is the inspiration for much of her work.
1968 - She was made a Companion of the Order of Canada.
1985 - She was made an Officer of the National Order of Quebec.
2000 - Died on the 22nd of January of bone cancer in Montreal, Quebec at the age of 83.
