1905 - Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 1st of April.

1933 - Her husband died from cancer, and Hale struggled to support her children through the Great Depression.

1969 - Lorraine brought a mother and child who were addicted to drugs to Hale's home.

1973 - Clara founded Hale House to help more babies with AIDS.

1975 - Hale purchased a larger building and the house gained child-care licensure, and was officially known as Hale House.

1985 - Recognized by Ronald Reagan in State of the Union Address

1992 - Died on the 18th of December.
