1961 - He served on the Stigler Commission and the Boskin Commission.

1965 - Zvi Griliches won the prestigious John Bates Clark Medal.

         - He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

1969 - He was one of editors of the journal Econometrica.

1975 - Griliches served as the President of the Econometric Society.

         - The National Academy of Sciences.

1993 - The President of the American Economic Association.

1996 - The Boskin Commission.

1999 - Died on the 4th of November.
