1961 – He was born Michael Andrew Fox on the 9th day of June this year in ERdmonton, Alberta, Canada.

 

1976 - Fox co-starred in the Canadian television series Leo and Me at age 15 and moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue an acting career.

 

1986 – He won his first Emmy Award as an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series  for the movie “Family Ties”. He won two more consecutive years for the same movie.

 

1985 - His best known roles include Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy (1985-1990).

 

1988 – He married Tracy Pollan this year and both were still living together.

 

1989 – He won his first Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Comedy or Musical for the movie “Family Ties”.

 

1991 - Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in this year.

 

1998 – For three consecutive years, he won a Golden Globe Award for the movie “Spin City”. On the same year, he disclosed his condition to the public about his Parkinson’s disease.

 

2000 – As the symptoms of his disease worsened, he retired from full-time acting in this year and has since become an outspoken advocate for embryonic stem cell research.

 

2004 – He made a guest appearance in the TV show “Scrub”as Dr. Kevin Casey.

 

2006 – He made voice acting for “stuart Little 3” and “The Magic 7”.He also made a gust appearance for five episodes of the TV show “Boston Legal”.
