1915 - George Forrest Chichester Jr., born on the 31st of July in Brooklyn, New York City. He was an American writer of musical theatre best known for the show Kismet, adapted from the works of Alexander Borodin. He was also known professionally at times as Chet Forrest.
1937 - Made the additional lyrics, Maytime.
1944 - 1989 - His famous musical works include; Song Of Norway, Gypsy Lady, Magdalena, Kean, Anya, The Great Waltz, Timbuktu and Grand Hotel.
1953 - His musical theatre is best known for the show Kismet, adapted from the works of Alexander Borodin.
1999 - Died on the 10th od October in Miami, Florida.
