Donaldo Gugliermo Farina

1944 - Donaldo Gugliermo Farina, born on the 29th of February in Chicago, Illinois. He is an American film and television actor.

1967 - 1985 - He grew up in a large Italian family and served as an officer with the Chicago Police Department.

1986 - 1988 - Working as a police consultant with director Michael Mann that Farina first got interested in acting. After starting out in Chicago theater, he eventually landed film and television roles, often as a mobster or police officer.

1988 - 1998 - His films include Midnight Run, Get Shorty and Saving Private Ryan.
      
2004 - 2006 - He is best known by mainstream audiences as Detective Joe Fontana on NBC’s Law & Order.
