Ernst, Morris

1888 - Born on the 26th of January.

1915 - He co-founded the law firm Greenbaum.

1917 - He helped found the National Civil Liberties Bureau, which would later
            become the American Civil Liberties Union.

1933 - He successfully defended James Joyce's banned novel "Ulysses" against obscenity charges.

1940 - He served as a head of the American Civil Liberties Union.

        - He agreed to bar communist from employment there and even discouraged their membership.

1976 - He died in this year.
