89 AD - 95 AD - He was exiled along with other philosophers by the emperor Domitian sometime.

 

90 AD - He was expelled with the other philosophers by Domitian, who was irritated by the support and encouragement which the opposition to his tyranny found amongst the adherents of Stoicism.

 

135 AD - He died in Nicopolis in northwestern Greece.
