Elway, John Albert

1983 - He was selected as the 1st overall pick by the Baltimore Colt (a American professional football team).

       - On the Month of May he was traded to Denver Broncos (American professional football team).

1987 - He won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award.

1998 - He was awarded the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXXIII.

1999 - On the 2nd of May at the age of 38, announced his retirement from pro football.

2000 - He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
