Elliott, George Frank

1846 - Born on the 30th of November in Utah, Alabama, United States.

1868 - He was appointed to the United States Military Academy.

1870 - He was was appointed as second lieutenant in the Marine Corps by the President
            of the United States.

1871 - He served at the Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C., United States of America.

1878 - He was promoted as first lieutenant.

1880 - He was ordered to duty on board the Alliance.

1882 - He served at the Marine Barracks, Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

1885 - He was with the Marine battalion sent to the Isthmus of Panama.

1892 - He was promoted as a captain.

1894 - He was attached to the Baltimore as Fleet Marine Officer.

1895 - He was sent to the Marine Barracks, Brooklyn, New York, United States.

1898 - He was on duty with the Marine Battalion of the North Atlantic Fleet.

1899 - He was promoted to major.

      - He was ordered to command the Second Battalion of Marines for duty in the Philippines.

      - He was promoted to lieutenant colonel.

1903 - He was promoted to Colonel.

       - He was appointed Brigadier General Commandant of the Marine Corps on the 3rd of October.

1908 - He was appointed Major General Commandant of the Marine Corps.

1910 - He retired in United States Navy.

1931 - He died on the 4th of November in Washington, D.C., U.S.A.
