1922 - Luis Echeverria Alvarez was born on the 17th of January.

2004 - He was indicted by a special prosecutor and requested his arrest for allegedly ordering the killing of 25 students demonstrators and the wounding of dozens of others on the 23rd of July. The arrest warrant for him was refused by the judge.


2005 - The special prosecutor for crimes charges against him for his responsibility.


2006 - His warrant of arrest was issued by a Mexican court on the 30th of June but was found not guilty of charges on the 8th of July.
