Eaton, Charles Warren

1857 - Born on the 18th 0f August in Albany, New York.
1866 - He started to worked at a dry goods store in Albany into his early adulthood.
1879 - He moved to New York City to work during the day and attend classes at the National Academy of Design
and the Art Students League at night.
1880 - He began to earn professional recognition along with his first sales.
1882 - He exhibited his first two paintings at the National Academy of Design.
1884 - His paintings exhibition brought favorable notice from The York Times.
- He also exhibited with the newly-formed Society of American Artist.
1886 - He quit his day job and devoted all of his time to art.
1910 - He gradually discarded the shadowy style and began painting with brighter colors.
1920 - He moved to Montclair, New Jersey and lived a quiet retirement with his sister and niece.
1937 - He died on the on 12th of June.
