1500 - Dunbar had meanwhile returned to Scotland, and had become a priest at court, and a royal pensioner.
1501 - He proceeded with that prelate to England on his more successful mission.
1503 - Wrote poem "The Thrissil and the Rois".
1511 - He accompanied the queen to Aberdeen and commemorated her visit in verse.
1520 - He certainly survived his royal patron. We may not be far out in saying that he died.
