1967 - He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL football team).

 

 

1969 - He was traded off to the Dallas Cowboys (NFL football team).

 

 

1972 -  He retired as a professional football player, immediately he was hired as an assistant coach by Dallas Cowboys.

 

1982  - He began his career as a head coach of Chicago Bears.

 

 

1985  - He was awarded as NFL coach of the year.

 

 

          - He was arrested and convicted of DWI (Driving While Intoxicated)

 

 

1986 - He was enshrined in the College Football Hall Of Fame (museum devoted to college football).

 

 

1992 - He was fired as a head coach of Chicago Bears.

 

          - He working as an analyst on NFL Live which broadcast on NBC as a color commentator for many other NBC broadcasts.

 

 

1997 - He returned for three seasons, as a head coach New Orleans Saints (NFL football team)

2007 - He is now working on ESPN Sports channel.
