1949 - Starred in the movie as Broderick Crawford's son in All the Kings Men, and as  "Nick Romano" in

Knock on Any Door (1949) opposite Humphrey Bogart.


1950 - Played as Robin Hood in Rogues of Sherwood Forest with Alan Hale.


1956 - His most memorable film appearance was in a supporting role in the epic film, as the noble Joshua in The Ten Commandments.


First married to actress Pati Behrs.


1957 - Married Ursula Andress (divorced 1966).


1974 - He married his third wife Linda Evans (divorced 1974).


1977 - Directed his forth wife Bo Derek, in four movies.


Directed two hit music videos for Shania Twain, "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" and "Any Man of Mine".


1990 - Directed the film Ghosts Can't Do It was his last attempt in the director's chair.


1998 - He died on 22nd of May from cardiovascular disease in Santa Maria, California.
