David d'Angers, Pierre Jean

1788 - He was born at Angers, on the 12th of March.

He won and taking the prize at the École des Beaux-Arts.

1809 - An annuity of 600 francs was granted by the municipality of his native town.

1811 - David's "Epaminondas" gained the Prix de Rome.
