1925 - Samuel Dash was born in Camden on the 27th of February, to Joseph and Ida Dash, immigrants from the Soviet Union.

 

1973-1974 - Served as chief counsel for the Senate Watergate Committee during the Watergate scandal.

 

He became famous for his televised interrogations during the Congressional hearings on Watergate.

 

Dash was a law professor at Georgetown University where he taught criminal procedure.

 

He published The Intruders: Unreasonable Searches and Seizures from King John-to-John Ashcroft.

 

2004 - Dash died on the 29th of May in Washington, D.C. of congestive heart failure, aged 79.
