1956 - Darden was born on the 7th of April, he was a fifteen-year veteran of the LA County District Attorney's office.

 

He received a B.A. from San Jose State University, and a J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.

 

1994-1995 - Served as assistant prosecutor in O. J. Simpson murder trial.

 

1995 - After the Simpson trial, he left the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

 

       - He joined the faculty at California State University, Los Angeles, where he taught undergraduate criminal law.

 

        - Appointed Associate Professor of Law at Southwestern University School of Law.

 

1996 - Co-wrote trial memoir "In Contempt".

 

1999 - He left the law school and started his own firm, Darden & Associates, Inc., specializing in criminal defense and civil litigation.
