Cheryl James

1964 - Born on March 8th in Queens, New York. 

1985 - Studied Nursing with Sandra 'Pepa' Denton.  

1986 - She formed the rap group, ''Salt-N-Pepa''.

1987 - Earned a Grammy nomination for their single, "Push It".

1992 - Cheryl made her debut in acting, along with Sandra and Deidre in Stay Tuned. 

1993 - Cheryl has also made guest appearances, some with "Salt-N-Pepa", on shows like "Ricki Lake".

1998 - She appeared in the movie, "Hollywood Squares".

2001 - Worked on her first solo album, "Salt of the Earth".
