Carvel, Elbert Nostrand

1910 - He was born on the 9th of February in Long Island, New York U.S.A.

1932 - He married Ann Hall Valliant.

1936 - He began managing the Valliant Fertilizer Company.

1944 - He was elected as a Lieutenant Governor of Delaware.

1948 - He was elected as a Governor of Delaware.

1952 - He ran in the United States Senate, but he was unsuccessful.

1960 - He was reelected as a Governor of Delaware.

1964 - He ran for the second time to the United States Senate, but he was unsuccessful.  

2005 - On the 6th of February, he died at the age of 94.
