Capito, Shelley Moore

1983 - Became Republican to represent West Virginia in United States Congress.
2002 - Re-elected to the United States Congress represent West Virginia.
2003 - One of Capito's main goals is to ensure West Virginians have access to experienced doctors they can rely on which is why she cosponsored the Help Efficient, Accessible, Low-Cost, Timely Healthcare (HEALTH) Act.
- She was a co-sponsor of the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit that was signed into law on December 9th.
2006 - She was re-elected to the United States Congress.
